Your Health and Safety

A safe experience at Lancaster Lodge

The wellbeing of our guests and staff is of paramount importance.
We have introduced a number of measures to ensure the highest level of protection.

Our commitment to cleanliness

  • Increased cleaning and sanitising of private and public areas
  • Guest-accessible  hand sanitisers at entrances and high traffic areas, please sanitise before entering the building.
  • Enhanced Staff safety with personal protective equipment and enhanced training and protocols
  • Signage will remain in place throughout our public areas to remind our guests to observe social distancing and handwashing
  • Daily housekeeping of your bedroom is available on request. Please inform Reception if you require housekeeping service for your room before 9:00 am.

 Arrival/Check-In:

  • Based on HSE guidance, please do not enter Lancaster Lodge if you are feeling unwell.
  • Face Masks must be worn at all times in public areas of the Lodge.
  • Please sanitise your hands before entering the property.
  • Visible markings  and barriers will guide you safely in the reception area, and our colleagues will observe social distancing whilst checking you in and out.
  • Please follow the barrier and floor markings for queueing and we ask that only one person per room to approach the desk to register and check in please.
  • Credit card payment options and e-mail receipts will be encouraged. Payment terminals will be disinfected before and after each transaction.
  • Key Cards will be disinfected after each stay
  • Lifts maximum occupancy must be strictly adhered to (1 persons per journey or 1 household group)
  • Your contact details will be kept for contact tracing purposes,  and the information will then will only be used in this instance and will not be used for other purposes without consent.

Dining Room – Breakfast served 7.30am – 10am Daily

  • Buffet food options are reduced for the moment and all orders are on a table service basis.
  •  Coffee is self-serve, please use the markings to queue safety
  • Please follow directional arrows for a one way system in the dining room and observe social distancing.
  • Tables and Chairs and any items on the table will be sanitised after each guest.

Guest Bedrooms and Housekeeping:

  • A thorough and comprehensive cleaning and sanitising program is in place for all guest bedrooms and bathrooms in preparation for your arrival with specific extra attention being given to all touch points throughout.
  • Daily housekeeping of your bedroom is available on request. Please inform Reception if you require housekeeping service for your room before 9:00 am.

  • You will receive a bag of fresh towels and guest amenities to your room daily, and we can also remove any refuse at that time if you wish.

  • Guest rooms will automatically receive a full cleaning and linen change on the fifth day of an extended stay

  • Guest information and spare pillows and blankets have been removed and are available at Reception on request.

  • Please use the phone in your room to directly contact a member of staff in reception should you become ill with symptoms such as cough, fever, difficulty breathing and they will implement the Covid response plan.
