    Booking confirmation by e-mail / SMS

    You will receive an email confirmation with the reservation and if you wish, you may request that you also receive by SMS.

    Cancellation of booking (**Except Advance Purchase rates which are non refundable rates)

    Cancelling your reservation can be done up to 24 hours prior to check-in via the confirmation email. There you will find a link to cancel your reservation.

    **Advance Purchase rates are non cancellable and non refundable.

    Modification of booking

    You can change your dates or other details of your reservation by contacting the Lodge direclty. 

    If you wish for Lancaster Lodge to use the credit card you provided to secure the reservation to be charged for your entire stay, you must request this at least 48 hours in advance of the stay so that you may provide Lancaster Lodge with the authorisation documentation that we require.

    Please note that 1 day before arrival (immediately if booking is within 24 hrs) we will pre-authorise for the 1st night charge
    for each room booked, on the credit card use to make your booking. In the event this is declined we will be unable to hold the reservation.

    If you wish for us to use that pre-authorisation towards payment, please request this on check in and you must
    present the same card at Reception and we will be happy to facilitate. You may of course pay by an alternative
    method on arrival and the pre-authorisation hold will release within 2 weeks.


Standard Cancellation Policy and Booking Terms and Conditions (excluding Advance Purchase Rates)

  • Cancellations made up to 12pm the day before arrival date are free of charge for standard rates.
  • For cancellations made after 12pm the day before arrival date or in case of no-shows, one night of the booking will be charged to the credit card provided.
  • Advance Purchase Rates - balance of payment is taken on receipt of booking and have individual Cancellation Policy which do not allow cancellation or refund at any time and cannot be transferred.
  • Unfortunately we do not accept Hen or Stag Parties. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation if part of a Hen or Stag Party.
  • We reserve the right to PreAuthorise the credit card provided on booking prior to arrival and in the event of it being declined will cancel the reservation without further notice.
  • Cash payments at Lancaster Lodge may only be paid on arrival and must be accompanied with Photo ID a copy of which will be taken. We do not accept notes higher than Eur100. If you have Eur200 or Eur500 notes you can present a credit card to preauthorise and you will be directed to the closest bank to change into smaller notes.
  • If not paying in cash, on arrival you must provide a credit/debit card to be pre-authorised for the total amount of the stay. If you decide to use a different card for payment on departure please be aware that it may take up to 30 days for the pre-authorisation amount to release to you depending on the policy of your bank.
  • Bookings of over 5 rooms constitute group reservations and have different terms and conditions and cancellation policy.
  • Deposit and booking fee (where charged) are NON-refundable.
  • Please note, that you will find the our contact details on the confirmation email that you will receive after completing your booking.

Damage to Lancaster Lodge property

The Guest or their invitees shall be responsible for any damage caused to the rooms, furnishings, utensils and equipment caused by any act of omission, neglect or accident and will be fully liable for the full cost of the amount required to make good or remedy any such damage. We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage, caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest or their invitees to Lancaster Lodge's property or structure. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit card, or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address. We will however make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the Guest would incur to a minimum.

Removal of Lancaster Lodge property

We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of replacing any items that are removed from the premises by them without consent. The charge will be the full replacement amount of the missing item, including any carriage charges. Should the fact that the item is missing come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guests credit card, or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address.

Lost Property Policy

Property that is left on the premises will be kept for a period of 60 days after which the property will be deemed to become the property of Lancaster Lodge and it will be donated to charity.

In order for property to be reclaimed, a detailed description of the item(s) and/or proof of ID (identity) is necessary.

Lancaster Lodge accepts no responsibility for lost property whilst on the premises.

We are happy to wrap and return any item via An Post once it has been confirmed to be located on premises by Lancaster Lodge management and the postage costs must be paid and please note that all are items sent at owner’s risk. If you wish for a courier to collect the item, you can organise this yourself and we are happy to wrap the item and will have it ready for collection at Reception once notified with 24hrs notice.

Policy on Tips and Gratuities

All Tips and Gratuities collected both in cash and by electronic means are pooled and 100% distributed to employees.
It is shared based on seniority and experience and also based on number of hours worked.

 

Pricing Errors
Lancaster Lodge and its affiliates reserve the right to cancel contracts based upon incorrect information being displayed in relation to price, inclusions or service at any point in time.

Residents Only Policy

Lancaster Lodge for the safety and security of all of our guests do not allow unregistered guests or non residents to guest bedrooms. If you wish to register additional guests, we will be happy to help you, please call Reception.
 

Cooking and preparation of Food in guest bedrooms

Our guest bedrooms DO NOT  have a kitchenette or any facilities for the preparation or cooking of food.

Due to fire risk it is NOT permitted to cook food or prepare food in your bedroom. We are always happy to reheat food for you if requested in our microwave, please just ask one of our team at reception. who will be happy to assist.
